Sources and corrections policy
TripDip is responsible for its articles and corrections. The October 2026 review found unsupported claims and calculation errors in parts of the archive. Revised articles carry correction notes; other historical articles should not be treated as current rules or live quotes.
Evidence and estimates
New articles and substantive revisions should link original evidence. Rules and fees need jurisdiction, passport scope and effective dates; insurance depends on policy wording, without guaranteed claims. Quotes need observation and travel dates, taxes and occupancy assumptions. Modelled budgets are labelled estimates. A source link alone does not establish that every claim has been verified.
Dates and corrections
Original publication dates are retained alongside update dates. An update date does not mean every price was checked again. Material corrections are explained in the body in both languages. Historical data retains its observation window; consolidated articles keep redirects.
Limits of the data
National price/FX indexes are not package quotes. Historical flight performance is neither a forecast nor an insurance payout rate. Automatically generated data articles must also identify sources, definitions, samples and observation periods.
